This is a group for volunteer and educational opportunities with a focus on organic vegetable gardening and food production in an urban setting. We adhere to and study permaculture principles for the purpose of creating a more sustainable environment adapted to our community. Faith House is a nondenominational Christian recovery center.
The Faith House Garden grows organically vegetables and fruit for the 40 residents of a transitional housing facility. Excess produce is sold through St Pete locally grown. We also raise chickens for eggs and are about to add rabbits to produce our own amendments. We are a permaculture demonstration site and offer gardening classes.
